Default XTD or XTR Stage 3 Clutch?

Well I am buying my clutch now. Yes, I know they are both ebay products and lots of people with negetive feedback on these clutches. If there is anything good then tell me.

I just want to decide between the 2. Its a $1 difference.

Any input will help

Thanks

I heard the stage 2 xtd's weren't very good. Should I get the stage 3, I am planning on turbo.

what i've read in forums that the clutch is good at first but thru out time it will break down on ya. theres a guy on this forum here

http://forums.nasioc.com/forum...12398

he had his for only 6 months and it died out on him.

you get what you paid for. and yes he didnt have the clutch in a honda but still the durability of the clutch and the company is not reliable

heres another thread on the xtd & xtr clutches i wouldnt get it if i were you

good clutch, but expect it to start slightly slipping after like 20k miles

it will be fine on quick launch and shift, but if you drive around normally on smooth starts it will slip on top and make a little squeak noise

you pay for what you get,.but overall it's good for the price

these clutches are actually pretty good for cheap price and its true you get what you pay for but as long as you dont drive crazy everyday it would last long enough.when i broke in my clutch i was suprise on how these clutches grab, chirp thru third.it may not last as long as the brand name ones but money aiint easy to find now a days when u need it bad and only have a few bux thats when u go for the cheap not like them rich folks.
bottom line is brand name is always the best and get what you pay for but when you broke or only got enough for low price clutch then we got to do what we got to do to get the car running!
yarararrmean!!!

F1 i wouldnt recomend i had them last time and their pressure plate teeth broke off on me.

If you're looking at a good clutch for the price, I'd go with Competition Clutch. Yeah, their Stage II is about double of those ebay ones, but a lot more reliable and they have a proven record.

Both the ebay clutches my friend got for his Si went out in less than a month. Actually one went out and the other one had a messed up spring before he could even put it on...

the stage 3 grabs real hard. it engages rough. My friend had it on his turbo teg.. I had the stage 1 on my accord. I didnt even break it in properly i just beat the hell out of it from the start and it never failed. Actually both of the cars were beaten to death and either of the clutches never failed. I would use it again.

Its up to you if your lucky or not, Some people have good 1's some people's fail after a lil while. But from my experience with ebay clutches Its okay for the price. I had a stage 3 and when it gets hot it starts to slip but other than that it grabs hard.
