How to take of Power attenna?

Default How to take of Power attenna?

HOw do you take them off? I took of hte rear panel already..I took off the bolts that hold the motor, how do I take the whole thing out?

You need a special multisize antenna wrench to losen the ring/nut that holds the antenna at the mast. Snap-on and other tools distributors sell them.

Note: If you don't care about scratching the chrome ring, just get a channel lock plier or visegrip and a towel and untight.

wrap the end of a screwdriver and wedge it in the grove on the chrome ring, one lil tap ought to losen it enough to get it off by hand... b careful though -rob

If you're going to do it like that, either tape around the antenna or put a towel there so you don't scratch your car.
