Default Alternator~HELP!

Ok so installed a new alternator for a d15b motor onto my d16a6 motor and its all installed and now when i try to start car NOTHING Charged the battery still nothing so i checked ll my fuses and vamoosh its the battery relay under the hood fuse fusebox so i run a wire and from both ends just to see if car starts up and i re attach battery cable and the wire burns up. hmmm ok so do i just nedd to get another relay or is there a short somewhere somebody help me find it or do i have the wrong alternator?

not sure if the d15 alt would work on the d16....maybe you shorted something out..ground wire isnt touching anything?

nope, the d15 alt works on the d16, that what I have on my d16a6 right now.

do you have the battery hooked up proplery
IE starter to positive ground to negitive.

well are u getting any codes like code 20 or so and get a volt meter and see where the power is u must have the alternator making power if the belt is hooded up so if that all right and makes volts then go to the black fuse box and see if that has power.
