A lot of people buy from hmotorsonline.com, even though they're a complete rip-off, their 100% startup guarantee and low mileage guarantee gets to some people.
I get mine from junkyards - well I haven't needed an engine for my civic yet - but for the ones I do swap, there's a REALLY good junkyard about 50 minutes from me, they do delivery, warranties, start up guarantees, etc. - very good for picking up engines or transmissions.
Another one is jsamotors.com

JSA motors is trash,
1. No refunds.
2. if you live on the east coast your motors come from canada.
3. A kid ordered a motor from them for my friends shop to install and it came to his shop with a blown headgasket, broken sensors. and wrapped in about 3ft of plastic wrap on some old wooden pallet. they called them up and the douche there kept giving him the run around. They called the BBB on them.
You can say Hmotors is rip off all you want, You get what you pay for. And using a reputable Engine supplier is worth the extra $$ along with the warrenties.

haha i dont understand you. you come in to all of these post saying hmo.com is trash. you get yours from junkyards.
ok if there was a junkyard next to this kid do you think he would be ordering off of the internet. junkyards arent always an option.
then you say go to these other sites.
if this site is proven to be good with awesome customer service, good shipping prices, and the engines are always in great condition. how can you complain about a hundred dollars or two??
hmo.com is a proven place to go
