so i have a friend that works at a sign shop. he mixed paint to tint taillights a few times and they came out great.

my question is would you de able to use another color other than black? my paint code is *NH583M*. could i mix that to cover my tail lights, but still have it translucent enough for the bulbs to shine threw? i've never seen this done before.

 

You could..... Though it couldn't get that dark.....

 

i have a brand new set laying around and i was going to redo the lights i have now. they look good from a distance, but whoever did them didnt do too nice of a job.

i think ill sand off the ones i have and give it a try. it it ends up sucking, i can always do the spare set. ill post pics when i acctually get around to doing it
