Default had a accident today.

so yeah anyways, i work for a courier company and my LS is just a DD. well i was on ventura blvd in the righ tturn only lane and it was a red light, my lane is clear and the other left lanes are packed.

so anyways im cruising up my lane about 25mph and there is a market turn in just ahead; before the right turn light... as i reach the market turn in, this lady in her blue 4 door EM2 merges from the MIDDLE lane and hits my driverside fender outtanowhere..she claimed she didnt see me because of a big white SUV was blocking me. it was so fast, car is still driveable, motor runs but i need to replace my hood, driver fender/headlight, and bumper. also she hit my rad support somewhat. she doesnt want to go thru insurance cuz she scared of it going up so she said for me to get an estimate and call her back.

ive always wanted a JDM front and this is the best time to get it. shes paying for everything and i have the best option for me to fix my damn frame is to just cut it off and get a JDM rad support and JDM front this ish.

i have a lot of bodywork/JDM shop connects so i can get the parts pretty fast. my obvious choice would be JDM front.

the good stuff. 2 pics only sorry. ill take more tmorrow.

its just a weird angle, my wheel isnt messed up ; thank god!

I hope you got an accident report and everything. A lot of people will say, "I'll pay for this if you don't report it," thinking they did like $500 dollars worth of damage. From the sounds of everything you want to do...you will be well above that. I say the hell with her. Turn it in, and do the same thing you said, but with garunteed money from her insurance company. YOU SIMPLY CAN NOT TRUST PEOPLE!

Why do people constantly bring this up?

definitely jdm front time.
i would also do what the man above said. sometimes people dont realize the damage they may of done to the radiator support and other damage under the hood. i would go through insurance just to be safe.

That sucks man. At least you will be able to get something out of it. As for the lady I think you should at least send her an estimate and if she doesnt respond back then get insurance involved. I remember when I rear ended some dude. I didnt want insurace involved so I told him to send me an estimate. He did and right when I was about to send him the money I got a call from my insurace because he reported. I was glad that I hadnt send the money to him because if I had I would of ended up going to his house and destroying the dude. Some people have access to large amounts of money on hand.

No police
No paperwork
No exchange of papers

= It never happened

Hopefully you swapped information and got a police report at least.

No, and it's quite easy to tell the difference...I think Mcdc2 thinks he is Bad *** because he noticed a similarity between the 94 - 97 accord front end and the jdm integra front end. Congratulations Mcdc2!!!
