FS: 2001 Civic 4dr LX, $6500 obo, SE Alabama, no mods
Up for sale is my 2001 Satin Silver Civic LX 4dr. Unmolested with no modifications ever, 100% factory. Selling due to the need for a larger car (CRV) for my growing family. Purchased April 2004 from Sam Boswell Honda Enterprise, AL as a Certified Pre-owned car with 33,XXX miles. 97,XXX miles on the odometer. D17 non-vtec engine, automatic transmission. Charcoal interior. Added Honda factory keyless entry(new from Honda), and factory Cd player from an EX model. All maintenance performed at Jim Skinner Honda or Sam Boswell Honda.
Pros:
Clean Interior, Clean exterior
Smooth running engine and transmission
Averages 35 mpg on the Highway, about 28 around town
Rides and drives good and straight.
Two new tires on the rear last month, BFG's.
Cons:
One cigarette burn on the door panel and one on the driver seat bottom, both from previous owner.
Clearcoat peeling in places on the front bumper from being poorly sanded from previous owner painting it. But nothing really noticeable, though.
Headliner is starting to droop about 4 inches from the backwindow, not bad though. can be easily repaired.
I drive this car 80+ miles per day commuting to my job, so that explains the higher average miles per year. We have had absolutely no problems at all with this car. I have driven to Charlotte, NC back-and-forth over 8 times with no problems, which is 7 hrs away from here.
This would be a great car for anyone, with decent power, great MPG, and bullet-proof reliability.
Asking $6500 obo, pm me if you are interested.
