Going back to OEM suspensin from Koni/GC... Few questions.
I am putting my suspension back to OEM. Currently I have Koni Yellows and Ground Control sleeves
Ground Control instructed that I cut the stock bumpt stop in half and use the upper half. Now when I put my OEM suspension back on what do I do with the bumpstops since they are cut? I guess here are my 3 choices.
1. Use the upper half
2. Put in the upper and lower half in (2 Pieces)
3. Buy new bumpstops, although I want to avoid doing this.
My other question is, I can only seem to have 3 of the 4 OEM spring mounting rubbers. Is it necessary that I use this? I am not sure if I lost it, or if I forgot to take one out when I put the GC/Koni together years ago.
Thanks

it's not necessary to have the rubber seat on top, might cause some squeeking from the springs. if this is going to be your DD, then pick up a used on at a yard or new at the dealer.
if you are selling it, then don't worry about.

They are $14 a piece!</TD></TR></TABLE>
that's $56. it's up to you. like i said, if this is going to be your DD and you're looking for ride comfort, then go for it. if you plan on selling it, then leave it. chances are the new owner is going to mod the suspension like every other Honda out there.

why you putting oem susp back on?? i heard gc with koni is a great combo setup,if you just want to higher the car just raise the coils
Okay, I have found some other posts of people going back to stock whom have also cut the bumptops with their previous setup. It looks like it is okay to put in the cut bumpstop with the OEM supension.

I would say that putting the bump stop pieces back together will work fine, but I would recommend replacing the missing upper rubber mount. If it's missing it can cause some suspension noise which might be enough for potential buyers to think twice. Not worth it for what I assume is a reasonably priced item.
Alright, I will just end up putting the two pieces of the bumpstop together..
Yeah I have ordered the rubber spring mount. It was only $8.00
