I go wooshwooshwoosh! And no, I dont mean fart!
I got my car back today.
BIG BIG BIG thumbsup to Greddy...
I  them forever...
I know some of you guys do not like the Greddy kit in regards to power, but it is perfect for me. It gives me more than enough power for DD and yes, the ricer in me loves all the little new noises too.
Not to mention being street legal is awesome!!
Ask me any questions you may have but um... make them easy, as I am a turbo noob.
AND..... I would appreciate any advice you guys are willing to give me in regard to turbo maintenance/safety and whatnot.

Any of you guys are welcome to ride, but be warned - Im gonna drive like a grandma so it wont be much fun. =X
As for power - I dont plan to dyno till I get an exhaust so Im not sure. Probably about 280ish to the wheels...

Love you guys!

nothin wrong with the greddy kit...just the managment isn't the best.
get it inspected with the emanage and then get it tuned on AEM....should be safer and ability to make more power
the pieces of the kit look very nicely put together

If you read what she said in the first post, she said that its more then enough power for what she uses the car for and im sure it's tuned to be safe on the motor for DD because thats what greddy is known for and plus, GREDDY themselves installed it on her car.
Think logically before you comment.

yeah until she drives the car for a while . . . ever owned a boosted car? if you have i'm sure you know how it is then. boost is addictive....sucks to be limited by your managment when you know that mechanically your kit has more in it. and i did read the first post
as for maintenance, use synthetic oil and change it more often, highway driving really heats up and abuses the oil. doesn't look like there is a cooler on there. other than that just keep an eye on your gauges to monitor stuff and listen for any odd noises coming from the turbo/manifold and stuff. a bolt backing out on the exhaust manifold such as between the turbo and manifold or wastegate and manifold can cause hot exhaust gasses to melt important pieces
also if you havent changed your clutch yet, upgrade it!!
good luck

I've worked on about 9 boosted cars in the past 3 years. Depending on your maturity and what you use the car for and respect for the car, you will know what you want and dont want.
Like she said, it's enough for what she needs it for. DD. You can only drive so fast on the road before you end up with a car that doesnt run anymore.

but owned? you get used to the power...and its not like NA where you can't increase power with the change of a setting on your Boost controller.
