i believe they are legal, and if not alot of people would not have them and be pulled over on a daily basis. Yeah they are legal unless a cop is being an ***...lols

haha same here..i got pulled over 6 time this month..cuz i live in the westside where are the crimes are commited..got my hood opened all those times, got 1 state reff ticket, 3 fix it tickets, and over 3-4 hours them wasting my time lols good luck!
Most legalities involve how they function.
To function like factory, they have to be:
Off when parking lights are off
Off when headlights are off
Off when high beams are on

Some areas also have standards for how low visibility should be before you're using foglights.
