Looking at the Apexi World Sport 2 for a cat back system. They sound great and don't attract the cops. Any other cat back on anyones mind that will run under 94db at the track? I hate attracting attention and you can't even run at our local race track after 10pm if you're loud.

Just looked up the RSR ex mag. Very similar to the WS2 in looks, sound and construction. Just seems to cost more, great looking piece though, are there any benefits to justify the higher price:? Horsepowerfreaks.com has the apexi for my GSR for $441, they also happen to be a half hour drive from my house so i have no shipping.

Says that the ws2 is made out of 304 stainless. I have some Borla's on my Corvette that are made of the same metal and also were purchased back in 1996, zero rust to this day and they look new when polished. 304 is just awesome metal. Where were you worried about the rust?

I've got the APEXi WS2 on my GSR sedan and I think it sounds perfect. For driving normally, it sounds pretty quiet, though you can hear the difference in exhaust tone in the cabin. But it definitely lets you know it's there when you get on the pedal, I've been told it gets pretty loud by my friends when they drive behind me.

I have the first gen axle back on my 94 and that exhaust has been around the block lol, but when I got it I didn't notice any rust and I've driven it thru 2 winters here already... it gets dusty, but all it needs is a little Mothers

I rock the Tanabe Super Medalion Hyper on my GSR. I've seen a lot of cars around here with the WS and I wanted something different. Full stainless steel, perfect fit, looks and sounds good. I'd post some pictures but unfortunately I don't have any.

I'd go with a stock itr. I think that exhaust flows around 30% better then the gsr exhaust.

The ws2 is stainless, they won't rust.

Any chambered or twin-loop exhaust will be quiet... twin-loops have better flow than chambered.

mugen, rsr, and hytech all make twin-loops.

Apexi ws2 don't rust, the ws1 does.

I have a tanabe super medallion hyper and it is bellow 94db if I remember correctly. It sounds almost like a 350z/g35 IMO.

$419 shipped is the best deal i've ran across yet. Around Portland Oregon we have a couple options, #1 is Baxters Auto Parts, these guys will match any price you feed them. The second is Horsepower freaks, like the ads you see in Modified magazine all the time. I'm going to see if i can get a 399 out of either one, if i can buy on here for 419 shipped it means i need to work my local people

Remember if you buy local, even if they price match, you probably have to pay tax. Why not just add another resonator to your current setup. Should only cost about $50.

No tax in Oregon Also have a stock GSR and stock exhaust. Bought the Edelbrock 4-2-1 header last week, figured i would be craving a cat back before long. The resanator trick works great on a straight through muffler, done it more than once myself.
