"ski bike" my 14 year old brother and his friend built *pics*
i just wanted to share. hopefully he will take some better pics once he gets the skis rounded off and the back ski braced a bit better.
nice. I had one cept it was built by a company called crighton i think. They should make a platform between where the peg sticks out from where the pedals were, and the peg from where the rear wheel attached. Thats how mine was setup. Made it easy to carve the bike down the slopes etc.

Very creative. All I can see is stitches though... Maybe they can fiberglass the actual ski part so it isn't so sharp?
Looks like my snow runner that I am selling. It is just missing an engine.

I friend of mine made a ski bike like that while we were growing up, except it ended up using actual old skis and had two in the rear rather than one. I guess it was a tri-skicle you could say. Didn't carve too well though.

My friend and I thought about taking one of those wide *** waterskis that you can put both feet in and bolting a BMX bike to it. I'm pretty sure we would've died if we did it though.

I'm sure thats what the mountain patrol said when they saw the first snow half-pipe. After saying that about the first snowboards (downhill/speed types).
