I have a 98 itr motor with the following mods

Hytech replica header
Apexi ws2 exhaust
Aem short ram intake

My question is, is it worth throwing some aftermarket cam or should i leave it stock considering i have only bolt-ons. I am eventually going to get aftermarket clutch and flywheel and have the motor tune.

 

It always nice to get after-market cams, but look into the future when you buy them, do you plan to boost all go all motor? I think its worth it, but is the cost worth it to you?

 

im thinking about going all motor.
the car is only going to be a daily driver so nothing to crazy.


Im getting a good deal on some cams from my older brother. so price is really not an issue.

 

then i say get them, be careful though on how agressive they are, you may/probably need valve springs and retainers. Cams are always nice edition to any ones set up though if you can get them.

 

It definately depends on what cams you get, then. You say you're getting a good deal on some, what cams are they?
