Default '90-'93(??) Integra Side Mount Intercooler location?

Ok, I have a small side mount (I think) intercooler that I got with my turbo set up. It's just a cheap one and the inlet and outlet are adjacent to eachother (90 degrees). I was wondering if anyone had a side mount on there Integra and where they put it? I can't really think of where to put it, but I wanna throw it in just for now, until I get a FMIC. Anyways, I will get measurements of it as soon as I can, and possibly pictures. It's kinda thick, but not extreme. I was thinking of putting in the passenger side fender well, but I don't have fender liners (car was slammed) and I am afraid of getting all kinds of dirt and debris in the intercooler fins. Anyone have any ideas on where I can put it? TIA

You can try to mount it in the same location as where the filter would be on a car with a CAI. Basically right in front of the passanger tire, behind the front bumper and turn signal. But it comes down to the size of your intercooler.

Your best bet will be to take your intercooler and just test fit it in random areas until something works. Do you have the intercooler pipping already or will you be fabbing them up. Because make sure you have enough space to run the pipping as well.

Well I was gonna wait until I found a suitable location for the intercooler, to make the piping (this way I know how much of what I need). Wouldn't behind the headlight/turn signal affect the performance...I guess it is a side mount though...at least I think it is lol...Just that damned battery is gonna be in the way...no money to buy a relocator lol.

Thanks for the advice though...I was messing with it before (location wise) and I didn't think about where the original filter is 'cuz it was connected when I was messing with the intercooler, so I just overlooked it. That's a good idea though.
