Aftermarket actuator
I got a Viper alarm that uses 2 wires for lock unlock green and blue wire. What I was wondering is could I hook up the wire straight to the actuators or do I need a relay.
As stated in the manual that accompanied your alarm, you will burn out the low-current lock/unlock output if you hook an aftermarket actuator directly.
You need relays. Preferably the 451m module that comes with most newer DEI alarms/starters.

It will not work, the door lock outputs are low current, [200mA], it takes more then that to drive one actuator.
What you may have is an alarm with door lock relays built in, in which case you can connect the door lock actuators directly to the alarm, or your car already had power door locks, or the door locks you installed had relays, [central locking kit] in which case you only need low current door lock outputs from the alarm.

Hey thanks for answering the question that has been answered twice before. Without your input, I don't think he would have known what to do.
