Winter wonderland...and batteries
First of all, i've searched Club Integra, TI, and H-T and no thread really had the same symptoms as me. Please help?
Its colder now here since I just got back from a warmer place with my car (well, 6 hours away) I start my car up the next morning and it won't start. I charged the battery, tried starting my car agian, still wouldn't start. I bought a new battery, put it in, my car started right up. Lights were bright, interior lights were bright, sound system sounding great, wipers fast as normal.
The next morning, i goto start my car, lights are dimmer, wiper is slower and didn't think anything of it and drove to work (40 miles away). Made it half way, my lights get eve dimmer, wiper even slower, deck dies, and the door lights on my gauge cluster lights up. Rush to my grandma's place cause I didn't want to be stranded, car dies in her driveway. Try starting it and it goes "click click click." Car doesn't start. I wait 2-3 minutes, and the car starts right up agian, with the same symptoms.
After work, 17 hours later, the car starts right up. lights are not as dim as before, wipers are just alittle slower than normal and someone told me to take off the postive while the car is running to check my alternator. I did so, the car was still running.
Is it my battery or my alternator? Ground? if so, which?
Sorry for the long post, just wanted to put the details in so I can get better assistance.

i had a similar problem last year. funny thing is after i changed my plugs and wires it didn't do it any more. you can always pull the alternator and get it tested. thats what it sounds like, especially with a new battery. if the alternator is good, and the battery is fresh, you may want to start checking your grounds.
i've been told that pulling the positive off of the battery when the car is running is not such a great idea with newer cars.

^^ crazy thing is, i took the battery back and they said the battery was "unstable." I got a new one, put it in, everything seems fine. Took it to autozone to get it checked but they said their "good" or "better" tester was messed up. When they tested it though he said the meter was going down slowly so at this point, I really don't know. I'll check the plugs and wire thing see if anything changes. And my grounds? where can I find them?
