Default trouble mounting my ASR rear 24mm sway bar on my 2000 civic si

Alright fella's, I ordered my ASR 24mm sway bar from weaksauce a few weeks back and decided to put it on tonight. I noticed while trying to line the holes up with the "D" brackets that the holes for the bolts were covered by the bracket when one bolt would go in.

To try and make better sense of it, only one bolt on each side of the D bracket would line up, and the other hole would be covered by the bracket.

This frustrates me, because i remember asking Weaksauce on the phone if the ASR sway bar would work with my Carbing rear lower tie bar, and they were firm with their assurance that it would work.

So I am asking, do I need to have the ASR subframe brace in order to run the sway bar?

I am pretty sure you might need ASR brace...are you sure you wanna install that gigantic bar without brace?...i think it would tear apart your subframe if you install it without brace

Definitely need one. If you were to somehow mount it, subframe tearout would occur the first time you try to test out the sway bar.

I think the problem he's having is that he has a cusco TIE BAR
and ASR SWAY BAR

Na cuz he is sayin that his D bracket is covering th other hole that it should mount up to.

Do you have the right size D brackets? You need the bushings and brackets from the ITR
