Default Jdm p2t vs usdm p2t ecu

i was told my ecu is a jdm p2t but i really dont know. whats the difference between the two? rev limiter ect. Any way i can tell if its a jdm p2t? its a obd2b this is what it says on ecu
37820-p2t-a11
Z4 1170-101366

all jdm ecu are smaller than usdm..jdm are some square shape.. usd rectangle shape which means their longer...

I don't think that's the truth on OBD2 ecu's, but partially true on OBD1 ecu's. Is there an OBD2B P2T ecu? I'm just curious about that....

Unplug your secondary oxygen sensor, located in the cat convertor.

If the check engine light comes on for it within a day of driving, congrats - you have a USDM ECU.

If you drive that way for days on end with no check engine light, congrats - you have a JDM ECU.

The JDM ECU lacks a few extra inputs that our OBD2 ECU USDM ECU looks for, and the secondary o2 sensor is among those things.
