Brakes: 2 simple questions
So, I got 3 of those 4 damn screws out with an impact screw driver... But, the last screw stripped. I decided to drill it out, so now I have a stuck screw with a hole in the middle. Any ideas how I should get this out?
Also, what do I spray the brake cleaner on? The can doesn't say. Do I spray it on the pads/rotors/calipers? Thanks!

Nope, don't have a dremel... What exactly do these screws hold in anyways? I know some people just leave them out. 3 of mine are out now and I didn't see any problems on my 26 mile drive to work.
I'm wondering if I should get that last screw out without damaging the threads, or if I should just drill the f*ck out of it. I'd like to not ruin anything, but I'm low on options.

Don't worry about it if you can get the rotor on and off. The screws are there because it makes it easier for the manufacture to assemble the calipers. I took mine off and threw them away.

You do NOT need the screws, if you can get it out then great, otherwise you can drill it out, whatever, it doesnt matter if you damage the srews or the threads of the in rotor because you dont need them, just dont do any real damage to the rotor itself. And you spray the Brake cleaner on the rotors, and maybe a bit on the calipers, just to get the grease/gunk/dirt/fluids off of them, just dont really spray it direct onto the pads, not real good to get it on them. Enjoy.
