ok the dome light i think its called does not come on when the doors open however the bulbs are not burned out because i can turn the light on. any idea how to get it back the way it was so they would turn on when the doors open? 2000 honda civic si

 

dose it have an after market radio cas thet will cause it to stop workin in the 96-98 but i dont know if the 99-00 are the same

 

yea alpine headunit, alpine speakers, kenwood amp. but it was fine before with all of that in the car. it just stopped working today. any idea how to fix it?

can you explain it a lil more?

 

there is a switch in the door jam, if it is broken the car may not know the door is open. does the light come on when you open the passenger door? when the driver door is open, do you see the door light on the dash?

It's not the same on the '99-'00 models.

He's talking about the black rubber "button" on the back of the door jamb.
