Now the fun part is putting all the trim and panels back together after it's painted. I gotta buy new clips too that broke off when I took everything apart.

Not to bad, any reason for the bright orange color? Everything looks pretty clean though.

Just curious, that's not the same orange like you find inside an Element SC is it? I have just about decided on doing mine in black and orange.

How did you do the aluminum? Powder coated or painted or...?

Looks absolutely amazing. Keep up the awesome work.

The aluminum parts are either hand polished or painted with 1500F degree engine paint.

The orange is some left over House of Kolor candy orange I had laying around from a previous side job. I painted the valvecover silver first then layed candy over it. Then cleared it with urethane clear. Also did some color sanding with 2000 grit sandpaper then buffing with 3M buffing compound and polish.

The engine bay is painted satin black with satin clearcoat.

Thanks for the props!

Very colorful.

It's like affirmative action, if you follow it close enough .

Well I used to do car audio/security from a previous job years ago. So I know how to rig this car up with security measures. As you can see, I've taken this thing apart myself so I know every possible way a thief could break into it. It's not my daily driver so when I do take it out, I never leave it where it's out of my sight anyways. My neighbors are cops as well.
