Stroud Parachutes
Stroud Safety is the leader in the non-rigid aerodynamic decelerator field (i.e. drag chutes). These chutes were designed from the start to be user friendly. Stroud Safety has over 35 years experience in parachute design and manufacture. After much exhaustive testing and refinement, the Stroud system was developed.
The Stroud Drag Chute is designed to open very reliably and softly, pull straight, stop sooner and pack very easily by one person in 4 or 5 minutes. The Stroud system does not pull the car off the ground. It pulls low and straight back. With its special deployment system, this chute will open much softer and much more reliably, stopping your car in much less distance than conventional chutes.

All Stroud belts are 5-point harness. We offer two types of seat belts, depending on the type of release you prefer. They are Latch and Link or Kam Lock (Quick Release). Further, restraints include Door Restraints and SFI approved Shoulder Pads. The basic colors are red, black and blue. If you want a custom color please add $25 to the price of the belts. SFI mandates that belts be recertified every two years. Stroud does recertify their own belts.
When ordering Stroud belts please indicate the type of shoulder strap you prefer–individual style, "V" bolt, or dragster wrap. Another requirement we must have before we outfit you in your belts is the type of adjustment for lap belts–pull down, or pull up. Finally, we need to know how the belts will be attached to the car–wrap around, bolt-in, or snaps. We look forward to providing you with your next set of seat belts!

Phoenix Fire Suppression Systems -- One of the most dependable Halon 1301 and FE-36 systems available. Phoenix had been protecting drivers and equipment for over 35 years.
One pounds of Halon 1301 and FE-36 discharged for every 50 cubic feet of enclosed volume will achievea 5% concentration in the air. This is sufficient to extinguish most fires with a substantial margin of safety. Stroud Safety systems are designed to achieve the concentration within ten seconds, where upon combustion cannot occur.
Any size enclosed area will be protected as long as a 5% concentration of Halon 1301 and FE-36 is present. Once the agent is diluted with fresh air to below the 5% concentration, the system begins to lose its effectiveness.
Halon 1301 and FE-36 has proven effective on the flammable portions of Class A Fires (wood, paper, etc), Class B Fires (flammable liquids and gases) and Class C Fires (electrical). It has also been found effective on deep-seated Class A fires if sufficient soaking time is allowed to dissipate the heat.
The DuPont company concludes that Halon 1301 and FE-36, when used in concentrations of up to 7% by colume for several minutes, can be used in the presence of humans with a high degree of safety. Research has proven taht concentrations of up to 7% by volume of Halon 1301 or FE-36 produce no harmful lasting physical effects on humans. However, in concentrations exceeding 7%, tests have shown taht subjects experience feelings of lightheadedness and reduced dexterity. Under normal conditions, the agent does not have corrosive or other adverse effects on metal or plastic components.
