I did my 12000K HID kit last week... its just like installing a new bulb...
just take out the old bulb, and put in the HID bulb in
then connect the HID accessories into the light.
BUT, you have to Cut out the Stock male connector and spline the wires together... mines looks sick

i'm thinking of getting a 3000k kit for my factory driving lights, so i can use them as fog lights. I also want to re wire the lihts so i can turn the new yellow 3000k fogs on without the head lights.

that looks great 9lsvtec. where did you get your kit from?

wow you did a good job!! i mounted mines in the exact same spot...

But i got 12000K bulbs. they say that the higher the kelvins, the shorter the distance of light. but for my, all i did was aim the fog lights a bit higher and see everything...

and Boosted_F22B if you want to run ur fogs with out the headlights on, just take out the high/lo fuse under the hood for left and right head lights and you can run it like that. i drive with my fogs at night alone and i see everything... obvously its not as BRIGHT as the head lights cause they arent projectors but I still blind people LOLz... more pics to come soon

if i take out the high low fuse then i will lose my headlights. i want to be able to have just my fog lights on so i can see in the fog but for everyday i still want my headlights and fog lights to work at the same time. all you have to do is find the power wire that feeds the relay for the fog lights and move it from the head light switch to the ignition switch, for power.

There's a write-up on both tsxclub.com and acurazine.com on how to make your fog lights and low beams work independently.

My car is in the bodyshop since someone side swiped my car on the freeway, but I have HID fogs and i wired them to work independently of the headlights. I will try to take pics as soon as I get my car back.
