This guy wants to sell, a 1995 Honda civic, for 1000$. The motor runs, it is a D16Z6 with a 178,000 miles, and the body of the car is ****. He hit a pole on the drivers side door. I only need the motor, and i could scrap the rest of the car. Is 1000 a okay price?

what else can you get off that car besides the motor? can you get enough to make some of your money back?? id put $500 in his hand. if he doesnt take it.. walk.

Pics of the damage to the driverside door and pics of the car would work. Depending on the damage and the condition of the rest of the car (exterior/interior) a thousand could be a good price.

Get some pics and we shall see...

 

If all you want is the engine it seems like a bit too much trouble to me.. esp for one with that high of miles.. Just take your money to a engine supply shop and get one with lower miles for much less than 1000 bones..

For $700 you can get a complete B18b1 (LS) swap that is in good running condition... at least in CA you can.

 

so did you end up getting the car? if so you should post up some pics of what you ended up with.

 

If you're swapping the motor out anyway, and are trying to go cheap, at least get a cheap b-series.
