Car Squeegy thing...does it work well?
I have the absorber and I love it better than the chamois cloth. Does the squeegy work better than absorber without removing the wax? I saw a cheap one for $6 and a better one for $20 at Walmart. thanks!
california water blade... OWNS. i wont wash my car unless i have one with me!
dont skimp and get a cheap *** one... you'll throw away your chamois once you use a REAL cali water blade. dont get an imitation!! i cant stress that enough!!

i work at a professional car detailing joint, and thats what we use to dry off cars, and then we go over the car after we use the california water blade with a nice soft towel to get rid of any water spots, and then, this sounds stupid, but grab a newspaper, and crumple it up, and go over your windows, and it gets rid of any spots, and also the ink in the news paper is like a protective sheild for your window, stuff wont stick as easy, and your wipers work way better!!!!

same here.. I use the california water blade and then go over the spots it didn't get w/ the Absorber... I think the CA water blade works really well.. just that my car doesnt have the angles of a brick ( totally straight lines) so it misses some spots and I just go over those w/ the Absorber... either way w/ the 2 I dry my car really quick... got my CA water blade at costco for $13... and got my absorber for $7

It's not stupid at all using the newspaper. I use it all the time to dry the whole car. Also, it doesn't leave anything behind.

I thought the Cali Water Blade was the **** at one time too. Then one day while using it on my hood, "whoosh!", a mark going right down my hood. I barely used it unevenly, and the corner left a line in my clearcoat.
Oh well, it buffed out - but caution if you own a black 'teg.
