I ran BT 002s for a couple track days. Really had no complaints.

 

cheapest place to get tires is usually the track. i can't remember if trackdaz uses a michelin guy or a pirelli guy. there's a set of new BT014's for sale on SCS right now for $150 if you're interested.

 

x2 for bt002's, i run them for canyons and have great things to say. just make sure theyre WARM! (obviously )

 

$246 is a real good deal.

the bt014's will be ok for your first track day imo. should be fine til you hit fast intermediate group pace.

Can I use a mich. Pp 2ct 90% tread life (use on the street 1000miles??)would they pass inspection? Or it has to be new tires everytime u go to track?? Thanks

Me personally, I like having fresh meat going to the track. Peace of mind.

 

You don't need new rubber each time you go. I've done 2 track days on my PP 2CTs and they're ready for more. Are you taking the Gix or the RC51?
