Default Running my type-r at Lakeland fl. tonight

Hi all I am running my 00 Type-R at Lakeland motorsports in Florida tongiht. Last time i ran my car I ran 14.54 @ 93.8 . But sence this is a 1/8 mile track Ill have to set a different goal. I have ran a best 1/8 of 9.34 @ 75.88 on the 14.54 run. so maybe i will see a 9.2 somthing.

Anyone else going?

Ran better than expected.

First run

60ft- 2.263
1/8- 9.215 @ 80.90 mph

Second run

60ft- 2.225
1/8- 9.154 @ 82.42 mph

The rest were 9.2s - 9.4s @ 79mph

I have a feeling the mph was reading a bit high, so when I asked everyone there they all said it was dead on. Who knows. This is a different track than I normally go to. Remember my best at OSW is 9.34 @ 75.88 with a 2.19 60ft before the rebuild burning lots o oil.

What do you all think?

"Lakeland" Where Traction is the action. Use to go up there back in the 90s to see pistons vs rotaries shootout. Traction is phenomenal up there.

I was the first car out and I kinda fell below vtec on the launch but I was suprised to see that 9.21. After my 9.15 pass the track was not sticking as well. I had alot of fun and it was not busy at all. I got 4 runs within the first hour I was there. That includes letting my car sit and watching others run. Nice track I will definatly be going back. Only 15 bucks and they run from 6-11 thursday nights. Doors open at 5.
