Skunk2 Cam Gears Noise Question
Skunk2 Cam Gears Noise Question
I just had a set of Skunk2 adjustable cam gears installed over the weekend on my nonVTEC B20Z w/Crower 403's (the cams were already in there for almost a year now). And I had a questions about them…has anyone else noticed that they are relatively loud and noisy at start up? They quiet down after about ten or fifteen minutes, once the engine warms up.
Just want to see if this is typical. Also, they are the “regular” series gears (blue), not the pro series.
Thanks!

This doesn’t seem like the timing belt, it’s certainly not a low pitch hum…
