Default Buddy Club Valvetrain in an LS

I'm asking this question for a friend for clarification. I bought Buddy Club springs and retainers, from a guy who owned an LS/VTEC.

My plans were to put it into my B18C1. I purchased Skunk2 parts to complement the cams and gears etc. So I'm getting rid of these, the question is...

Would the valve train run in a B18B1 normally as they would in the B18C1?

My thoughts tell me 99% that they will. But I just want to clarify because I don't want to sell him something that won't work.

When I compared stock LS parts to stock B16 parts everything was different. Most of the nonvtec parts will not interchange with a vtec head, vice versa.

I'm going to say no.

Nope, they won’t work on a non-VTEC B-series.
