radio wont work right!! help!!
so i installed a radio on my 1992 hatchback, every time i turn off the car and i turn it back on it wont play the cd or save my radio stations i have to eject the cd and save the stations every time! its really getting on my nerves, can some one please tell me what could be wrong with my radio??
did you wire it correctly? The Yellow wire should be the one for main power, but also for keeping the memory..check to see the wires on your car is not cut somewhere..i would say test it?
There's nothing wrong with your radio -- there's something wrong with the install.
You're not getting constant (backup) power. This is controlled by the yellow wire on the radio harness. Please please tell me you're not one of the people who cheaped out and cut off your factory harness, instead of buying a $12 conversion harness.
Also, check your radio backup fuse in your under-hood fuse box.

Eran is right, if you did a DIY and did not get a conversion harness, you pretty went in blind when you installed, unless you had a chart of which wires are which.
