My trunk light on my cluster stays on no matter how hard i slam the window on to hatch tailgate. i took a look at it, but i dont know what to do, i unpluged it but didnt do anything. any idea peoples of HONDA-TECH?

 

hmmm... u completely sure its closed all the way and there is no rear panels sticking out causing it to not close
could be the cluster i had a prob w/ mine way back with my seatbelt light wouldnt go off when i put my seatbelt on

You didn't by any chance hook up EXTRA trunk lights, did you?
I did that to help light up th trunk a bit better by tapping into the existing wiring for the single light. Worked great, but I had the same symptoms as you. Took a few times of my battery draining all the way down to finally shed some light (hahahah) on the situation.
Disconnected my extra lights and everything went back to normal. Still don't know why it did what it did.

yeah they are but thats how i got it..and its just barely started to do it still not sure what to do.
