LS NOT LSVTEC!..QUestions

So im getting ready for my build wire tuck etcc in not to long and im looking at my options and i was looking up cams and i came across BrianCrower and i was looking at there section of LS motors builds and with minor mods they made over 300whp with stock bottom block, cams have long duration but still wouldnt justify that HP, am i not seeing something here why dont people do this .. could there dyneo b set-up wrong..??

my completely stock internal ls made 146 hp, 135 tq with bolt ons.....
not a MAJOR build, but non vtec.....
but the all motor ls hp numbers in your link seems high for a 1.8 "stock bottom end".... compression is a little low
but thats just me......

what else does it say then all i see is
BC0022 – B18A, stock bottom end, BC0020 spring/retainer kit, MSD ignition, AEM CAI, DC 4-2-1 header, Greddy exhaust, B&M fuel reg, sprockets set at 0 int/0 exh. 300some whp help me out im going krazy here....

its not 300whp. You are reading the chart wrong.
the top graph is the torque graph which is represent by the Y axis on the right.
HP is the bottom graph which is represented by the Y axis on the left.
