Default HELP please...

So I just got rid of my old z6 and got another. All I did was exchange the wire harness(from my car), alternator, distributor, starter, and the intake mani. So I got it all in and all it does is crank. I can smell the fuel but im not getting any expletivein spark. I put new plugs, wires, rotor, checked all grounds, and pretty much everything a million times. Could it be that the injectors plugged in backwards? Once again everything that was on my car in working order was exchanged onto this new motor. The fuel pump still primes, and clicks and I can smell the fuel in the engine so its not the main relay or ecu hopefully.

I appreciate any help or suggestions.

Injectors being plugged in "backwards" would not cause you to have no spark.

Check the igniter, rotor, and cap, on your distributor.

Check all your grounds, twice, and then again a third time. Most of the time, when a car doesnt crank right as you are completing a swap, it ends up being a missed ground.

Ok theres the ground on the vc to the rad support, the ground from the tranny to the little bracket on the tranny, the ground from the distrib wires to the t-stat housing, and most importantly the battery ground.

Am I missing any?

If one of the plugs on the intake mani are plugged in the wrong place would that cause it not to start???

You said it's not getting any spark though - it's not like it's just randomly not starting and have no clue what's wrong with it.

If it's not sparking it's one of two issues:
A) Distributor issue
B) Grounding issue

Pick one. I say dizzy if you checked the grounds as many time as you've claimed you have.

Ok I sold my old motor with my old dizzy that worked perfectly fine...The guy who bought it from me let me borrow it and I put it on and still no spark. I also tried a new coil and rotor and still no spark. I guess Ill try to move the ground somewhere else...

The timing is perfect...thats what I thought first and I had a friend set it.

Ive also checked all the fuses and they are all fine...I will double check all the harness plugs though
