I have a 96 Accord and there are some spots on the roof where the paint has peeled off, one is getting pretty big. I don't care about the aesthetics of the car, but I want to touch it up to stop the roof from rusting. I know that I can find the color code on the door, but I was wondering what I need as far as base coats, primer, etc besides the main color. Also, I noticed some places a can is 5$ and some places its 25$. Any tips on what I need to get the job done? Thanks.

if you're looking for a fast cover up, you can easily go to a honda dealer and buy 7 dollar touch up paint.
