Default B16B Swap

I want to change out the water pump, timing belt, tensioner and tensioner spring but can't seem to find the parts specific for 99-00 B16B.

Can anyone advise me what to do ? I heard I could use the same parts from 00 USDM ITR or USDM GSR parts. Is this true ?

Thanks
Tae

why a b16b? are you doing it for bragging rights? or just to pay $2000 more for 20 horses?

cuz if its not for bragging rights id just go witha b16a2

LOL i have always been a fan of CTR specially after I saw coupe of them when i was in Japan. If I can't get the real one, why not build one similar to it right ?

Plus, $2800 shipped is not a bad deal i dont think

B16a doesn't fit. I'm pretty sure B18C parts will do but wanted to make sure of it

Thanks

God damn it he isn't asking if you like a B16B, he's asking what parts fit the fuucking engine!!! Nobody cares if you like the B16B or not.

Ummm...hell no they do not. B16B = Integra Type R B18C5/B18C block with a destroked crank and higher domed pistons.

Having said that order the T belt and waterpump for an Integra Type R 97/98 or 00/01, or 94-01 Integra GS-R B18C1 are all the same. I'd go OE Acura/Honda parts.

BTW - OE numbers:

Timing belt - 14400-P72-014 (126RU26)
Water pump - 19200-P72-013

I'd also ask for cam seals x2 and 1 crank seal - also for B18C5/B18C1 ITR/GS-R same numbers.

My bad on leaving the rods out of the equation, but hopefully someone would understand that a destroked crank would also require longer rods.

Leave the man alone, he can have whatever engine he wants. Free country - free will.

On a side note, I was not asked but I think the B16B is a cool motor. Go for it!

How was your post of any help? He wanted to know about engine parts and you hit him with horsepower figures and pricing?

You said to get just one crank seal. Are you referring to the front or the rear ?

No worries, man.

There's technically only one, the front/exhaust cam seal. The distributor goes on the intake cam.

Sorry I was in a hurry yesterday.

A more thorough parts list would be:

Timing belt
Water pump
Cam seals (located behind cam gears)
Front crank seal (located behind the crankshaft pulley pressed into the oil pump housing)
Valvecover gasket
4 spark plug tube seals (press into underside of valvecover)
Valvecover grommets/top washers with rubber pieces inside if yours look squished at all

***Note*** when ordering valvecover top washers/grommets ask for Type R if you want crome; GS-R if you want black
