I'm trying to install an alarm (clifford avantguard) in a '99 Integra LS but having a hard time with the wiring. Does anyone know much about installing an alarm? Specifically, I'm having a hard time finding the wires for the power door locks. Here's the reference I've been using:

The Audio / Security / Video forum (https://honda-tech.com/zeroforum/27) has really good information for these types of questions. I would try there too.

 

If you car has ABS the wires are located in the harness that is located behind the ABS module. You will have to remove a 10mm bolt that is holding the module in place to get to the wires. The door lock wires are black w/white trace and black w/red trace. They are a negative trigger. Make sure you test the wires. You can PM me if you need help.

does anyone have a writeup of how to install on this car with picts? I know I found lots of useful information under ****INTEGRA FORUM FAQ**** for other stuff and hopeing that someone did that for the alarm, anyone?
