Seen it, that how vtec works though, good isnt it. vtec-e is different it utilizes one valve instead of both as in vtec .

 

ya cuz VTEC-E is an 8 valve VTEC while the motor like the z6 has 16 valves

 

Wrong, has 4 valves per cylinder.

 

i think the eg vx comes with the 8 valve vtec-e u sure?

He's sure. You're thinking on the non-VTEC d15b8 (The CX model).

 

no im sure i was thinking about buying a hatch that had the vtec-e and im pretty sure they are 8 valve cuz i have the d15b7 and i use to have the d16z6 my buddy has the 8 valve cx motor

 

and the car i almost bought was a vx model the vtec-e model

 

The 92-95 VX has a d15z1 which is a 16 valve engine.

yeah the vx's and hx's (d16y5) are both 16 valve motors...(after 2800 rpm of course )
