tokico blues + skunk2 coilovers = won't go that low?
i have a 5th gen prelude and when i put the front to the lowest setting, i can't get the fenders to tuck. however, i can adjust the rear to tuck and have about an inch left to go. does anybody have the same problem? it's disappointing to see the rear lower than the front and in order to get a balanced stance, i have to raise the rear.
My friend has a skunk2/blues combo on his dc4...he's able to tuck pretty good. The blues probably won't hold up that much longer though. His ride is a little bouncy.
I had blues on a Nissan, and they are not great if dropped too low.
The ride quality was horrible.
I believe you void your warranty with Tokico if you lower your car more than 1.5".
Suspension is not a place to cut corners to save $$$.
Edit:
This was taken from the Tokico FAQ section on the official website.
Q. How low can I lower my vehicle?
A. The amount a vehicle can be safely lowered varies by make and model. Cars can generally be lowered 1 or 2 inches and some trucks can be lowered by as much as six inches. Excessive lowering can and does cause problems. If lowering removes too much suspension travel or springs are too stiff, problems can range from a harsh ride to actual suspension component damage.
Some of the problems include:
• Harsh ride with poor adhesion
• Excess CV or U-joint wear
• Poor wheel alignment
• Shock failure
• Stress cracks in the chassis or suspension
• Excess chassis noise and rattles
• A dangerous lack of control on rough road

Have you checked to see if the front dampers are sitting on the bump stops at rest?
