I would like to share some of run video and couple of pictures I took when I was drag racing in the "Super Street 4" Class which mean all 4 cyc. engine race in one class AWD, RWD and FWD.

The race schedule was:

Wen. Dec 5, 2007 (Test and Tune)
Thru Dec 6, 2007 (Qualifying)
Fri Dec 7, 2007 (Race Day)

I did run on the Test and tune day and my best time was 10.6@216km/h. After that run I found that my oil pressure gauge is not working I knew my oil pump broke, I tired to open the oil pump and bring a used from a B16a motor. I installed it the second day before few hours from the qualfying time. Thanks god everything went ok with me


I had 2 runs in the qualfying:

- 11.2@187km/h (missed 4 gear and slipping clutch)
- 10.6@218km/h


Race day:

- 10.9@207km/h (also missed 4th gear)
- 10.8@216km/h VS 9.9@234km/h Silvia


At the Final, I forgot to add enough fuel inside the car my mistake The car was cutting fuel at the end (you guys could see the smoke of the my car) Even my cluster showed my the red fuel lamp came on LOL

I had a better reaction .450 and his was 1.08 so I think I would won if I had the fuel in my car. Anyway I will let you guys see the video and some of the pictures wish you guys like it

THERE'S LOTS OF MONEY OVER THERE....THATS THE RESULT WHEN HAVE A REAL PREP TRACK ....

 

I have been to that track before. Just a few years ago actually.

I may have to swing by again if I get any free time.

i notice you don't have a cage, are they not mandatory at their tracks? and how is the track prep? what was your best 60 ft. (18.3 m )?

 

Very cool I will be over in the UAE Jan/Feb tuning cars Would be nice to see some fast Honda's out there!

That's what I'm saying! Do you guys have to rent the space? Or is it provided for all racers? It sure beats swapping out a transmission in the middle of the parking lot, in the cold at night, with no lights except a flashlight with a dying battery.

Looking real good Bader, always nice to see whats going on in in other countries in regards to drag racing

 

How's the car doing Bader?

 

The facilities there look better than some of the ones here in So Cal.

Look at all the brick work!!!!

I was there in 2003 and the track looks much better now than it did then.

Bader, if I remember correctly the track was mainly used for NHRA events. With the NOPI/NHRA merge here in the US did it impact you guys at all?

It mandatory for 9sec cars and faster.

Yes, Khalid from Dubai bought it and the best time for it in Dubai is 6.1 .

I don't have a cage but I'm planning on putting one I was worry becuase I don't have one and then they might kick me out but no one told me you need a cage. That was the first time for me racing at that track but I have been to other track and they require a cage if you are running 10s. My best 60 ft time was 1.72 in this track but I did 1.67 in different track.

I think the track well prep. becuase I can see promod runs 6.1 and also the 350Z broke the US record when it was there dropping his ET from 6.9 to 6.7

Yes I did rent that space for about $29 per day
