ok so iv asked people and iv researched and gotten like 1000000000 different awnsers. how does the i-vtec in the ep's and dc5's actually work.
yes im a noob on k-series
and im used to h-series
so just a awnser please.

When I am searching something for the first time, I will always go to google.
If you would have went to google and typed in K-Series you would have come up with over 100,000 sites on the subject. If you notice the second link would have been for a wikipedia entry. I know wikipedia is not a reliable source, but it is a very powerful one. Read that entry and then ask questions, or even do some more research.

Didn't these engines sport 180 horsepower? It states on Wiki that its only 160...

Wow you own a EP3 yet are completely wrong. It's 160hp at the crank, NOT 180hp! No K series engine ever came with 180hp......
