Default coil over question

me and my buddy have been upgrading thing on his 2000 civic hatch and i dont know much about the hondas so im double checking everything i tell him so i dont screw his car up. if it was mine i would trial and error things but its not so. he got a set of ebay coil overs that his brother had for his car which was the same year and model.(pic below) they've never been used but they look quite a bit different than other coil overs ive saw you guys post about on here.....are we gonna have to get him a camber kit with these? how hard is the install and is there any guides on coil over installs? (i searched a couple different things and came back with nothing) any info on these pieces of garbage would be sweet. thanks.....

I have a 2000 civic coupe with ebay coilovers on it. Im very happy with them... they are the way to go in most cases. Camber kit is a good thing to have if you have the money but not necessary. I have stock struts on mine and no camber kit and its fine. The worst thing is that they are a bitch to put on. I messed with mine for a day trying to get em on and no luck so I let my friends uncle do it cuz I wanted it dun rite and I gave him 200 buks for it. Use the ebay coilovers... stock struts and no camber kit in my opinion... but if you dont know what ur doin like me dont install them urself.

Can go wrong with Tein, but then again you get what you pay for.

Seeing as its a hatch does that make any difference with the camber kit since its a little bit different?

Exactly my motto.

If money is an issue, I would lean more towards upgrading to a spring and strut combo. It CAN be cheaper to go this route.

Coilovers is also used to describe just the sleeves themselves, like in this case.
