Anyone running 215/40/16s?
I am thinking about slapping some 215s on 16 inch Rota Circuit Eights. Anyone have a problem with rubbing with a 42 offset? I know the fenders have to be rolled to some extent.
thanks
thanks
I don't know if this helps but I run 215/55/16 aziens. They rubbed in the back till I rolled the fenders (or hit with mallet as I like to call it)
i'm runnin 215/40/16s on enkei RS6's...yes, i know everyone and their f*ckin mother has these rims, but mine are at least powdercoated black. Only problems with rubbing i've had is the front whenever i'm takin a really sharp turn at low speed, or hitting a weird bump sometimes at and off angle. My next tires will be 205/45's though. less rubbing and more sidewall.
Nope no rubbing with my setup now. I had the 215/45x16" Azenis on last year and they rubbed llike mad with a 1" drop. They should be labelled 225/45x16" or even 235/45x16" they are WIDE tires.
I'm running on 205/50x15" Azenis now for my competition tires.

Yup tried everything. I ended up putting in some spring spacers to keep the suspension from compressing too much and they worked but the ride sucked. So I sold the tires to my friend and went with 205/50x15" Azenis.

Yeah that's right. And with these huge *** tires and the new motor that has the rev limiter set at 8000rpm I don't need no third gear.
I think I'm hitting 75mph in 2nd now.
And that is the right size. And they work awesome once I got it to quit hitting the back fender. I was within 2 seconds of FTD at the last autocross I ran at.
