Ive been reading through the forms and i am going to put new front brakes on my 89 crx hf. Im just replacing the pads/rotors right now. Im thinking about getting the power slot roters from http://www.lightningmotorsports.com/powerslot.htm Any one got any thoughts on these rotors and mabey a good place to get them at? Thanks

 

no need for slotted. just OEM replacements from brembo will do.


they work for me autocrossing my B16a Si.

as for pads, get Hawk brand pads. i have the HP+. i don't like EBC. they warped my rotors within 700 miles.

 

I'd go for the brembo blanks as well..

What pads are you going to use? I suggest the Hawk HP+ (or HPS)

 

Yeah i read about the just regula brembo blanks but i couldnt find any. Where did you guys get yours. Im checking a local "performance" part store today. thanks

I got mine form http://www.CollettiMotorsports.com You have to be carefull when shopping for Brembo OEM rotors because there are two different product lines. The first is the real deal brembos (what you want) that Colletti sells, and there is also the Quallitee line that NOPI and Summit sell. The qualitee ones are ok for most people and you can get them for $20-30 a piece but if you are going to give them any serious use you will be better off with the real deal. good luck
