missing wire spool holder...alternatives?
Hey guys, this is pretty much my first post here. I don't own a honda, (rather a 240) but I do hang out a lot in this welding fabrication forum. Based on what I read, I got a millermatic 140. I just tested it out yesterday and it was damn fun see how bad I was. But anyways, there is a big plastic locking holding thing that holds in the wire spool and I've seem to have misplaced it. Let me get you guys a pic....

Sorry for the bad pics. My friend says that a butterfly nut can probably hold it in in addition to my locking nut? Not sure but I don't want to special order that damn plastic peice or anything. Any info would help great guys.
Also another question.....will this welder be adaquete enough for JGS turbo manifold? or thick logs in general

one u find the thread size and pitch, than u can get a **** from a lawn mower handle or snowblower or something.
theres nothing special about that locking nut, it only holds the reel on the spindle, sometimes the side cover is so close u almost dont need one.

I tried using just the spring and locking nut itself...when the motor turns the spool of wire it turns the locking nut loose. then the spool of wire starts to go crazy since its not being held together. I'll see whats up with the lawn mower stuff though..thanks.
anyone else?
