GSR strut bar or ebay strut bar?
i got a GSR strut bar for free from my friend, and i want to put it on, he tells me that i have to drill holes in my tower to fit it on my 98 civic. i see that. so when i was talking to my other friend, he says that i should just buy an ebay bar so i don't screw up the integrity of the tower buy drilling holes in it. To me i dont see how that will screw up the integrity of it, if im putting on the strut bar. so what should i do?

the thread is about strut bars! i would not drill into the tower and you should have the holes in the chassis, generally plugged with little rubber gromets

Don't drill anything, strut bars really dont do much anyways, Grassroots Motorsports had an article saying that the effect of strut bars is so small that it can't even be considered an effect at all. I can't remember what article it was, I'd look it up but my magazines are at school. It was done with a Blue Impreza Wagon. In short, don't destroy your car for something that really doesn't matter. Get one that fits your car if you really want one.
