Default Error Code help

Hey H-T, so today on my way to work my CEL comes on...goddamit ****. So I'm stressing about it for awhile, come home from work pull the code and it...blinks Once. I tried it about a hundred times and I'm not quite sure what the code means. It is a 10, a 1 or something else? Any help would be appreciated. Merry Xmas eve everyone

Yea...I've seen that. Thanks tho. Not quite sure if its a 1 or a 10.

Plus oddly enough, it blinks whether I jump the service connector or not.

unplug the ecu to reset it and see if it comes back on. might just be something stupid like not tightening your gas cap enough

If it shows like that ......................... then its 10,but if it is like this one ......... then its 1.So code 10 indicates IAT intake air temperature sensor, code 1 indicates primary oxygen sensor.

Yes, the link was referenced twice.

Thank you.

I'd try this first.

Then, listen to this dude:

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by cln92eg &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">How long did it blink for cause if it was ten it would blink for a sec and thats. If its one it will bilnk half a sec nothing more </TD></TR></TABLE>

A single digit is like 3-5/10ths of a second. A "10" is a full solid second. Then don't forget it's in an infinite loop so there's about a 2 second delay and it'll flash the code(s) again.

If you can't figure it out, video record it.

PS:
I know the feeling of when you die a little inside when you see that light come on .
