1997 accord hesitates while slowing down on highway at speed >60 ONLY.
accord engine hesitates, bucks etc. no check engine light. replaced plugs, cap, rotor and fuel filter started after installed new o2 sensor

naturally does not do it for the repair shop

any ideas?

Is this only when you are above 60, or does it also happen when your rpm's are creeping up? I know you said you did a tune up, but when you put the plugs in, did you bother to gap them or just throw them in out of the box? My next question is when does the problem stop, when you get below a certain speed or a certain rpm? Just trying to gather some info to give a clearer answer.

 

only happens when exceeds speed of 60 then slow down to exit and it happens.
if my lovely bride would just drive 60 it does not happen. i did gap the plugs.

does not happen driving in city , nor on highway below 60
