The engine in my CIVIC 1.5 DXI 1993 does not come above 3500RPM in each gear. This forces me to drive 120kmp in 5th gear!!!

The case is that the engine shock’s at 3500RPM it seems as if the engine is not possible to lose it’s power. I just renewed the spark’s, the oil and all filters.

Any idea someone..?

 

check for codes from your check engine light. you most likely have a check engine light on. and if not, check for codes anyway.
Could be many things including fuel injectors, maf sensors, etc.
