ok just wondering i no EP's are really restricted when there stock. how much power do you think i could make with a header, highflow cat, short ram intake, and catback exhaust, im just looking for bhp. i just ordered all the stuff. now im saving for a reflash. also how much should i make after the reflash.???

I have a injen sr intake, greddy evo 2 catback, and dc header w/ a stock cat. I was told high flow cats are a huge waste of $ and just make your car louder. I too however am going to get a relash. With just my basic mods I didnt notice much of a difference honestly. Definitly a louder vtec engage, and a nice low end rumble. Maybe a little more power, but not much. Im hoping the reflash will help me better realize my gains. Maybe with all your mods and a reflash youll see an extra 20hp or so, while hopefully keeping your mpg

I have driven a couple stock EP3s and I can notice a decent difference between mine and a stock EP3.

I have AEM CAI, Megan Racing Header, and a Magnaflow exhaust. I really do feel a difference. VTEC has a nice growl to it too!

your probably right square 1. Thing is, I bought the car, didnt beat it at all, and a month or so after owning it I bought the mods. I probably just didnt get on it enough and get used to it enough to feel a real diff. Im still hoping the kpro will make me happy enough to stop modding it.

your better off with a race header than a header and high flow cat if emissions isn't a problem in your state...

You do know how vtec works in an EP3, right? I don't think you're hearing what you think you're hearing.

There is still a vtec crossover. And it sounds nice? What's there to know?
