Default GSR transmission problem HELP!!!

I am having a tons of problems with my tranny. When i put it in reverse and i am trying to get out of the garage my car starts shaking like if its struggling or trying to turn off. Then when i put it in first gear it does the same when i am at 2000 rpm or less in both first gear and reverse. When i am trying to put in first gear it wont let me, unless i try going down a little like if i am going in second and then i put it in first and it goes smooth. Then when i am driving and i am putting in, in any gear i struggle alot. Its just hard or not smooth. Sometimes i have to pump the clutch a couple of times so it could let me go into a gear. I cant figure out what the problem is and I dont want to buy another tranny and that not being the problem. Can anyone help me out? Oh by the way i took out the air out of tranny and i also made sure it had clutch fluid.

How does the clutch pedal feel, is it firm or soft. Does the tranny grind when going into gear, if so, which gears?

the tranny has no grinds, it just started out of blues. The clutch felt at first ok but it just keeps getting worse. When i shift into a new gear the clutch takes longer than usual to come back to its normal position. i could just feel the clutch struggling to come back. I am wondering if its the pressure plate?

You most likely have either a slave cylinder issue or master cylinder issue. What do you mean you got all the air out of the trans? You mean all the air out of the clutch lines?

Is there fluid leaking from your clutch lines/master cylinder/ slave cylinder? It could be on your carpet by your clutch pedal, on the ground outside the car, or in the engine bay.

If you have to pump the clutch pedal to get it into gear, it signifies a LEAK or AIR in the lines. Pumping the pedal just builds up pressure faster than the pressure can escape. The pressure isnt supposed to be able to escape as it's supposed to be a sealed system.

Your trans is probably fine.

Yea i took all the air out of the clutch line. Its not leaking fluid or nothing because the clutch fluid is full. Sorry i didnt make sense

Try adjusting your clutch.

Do a search if you want pics. Maybe someone covered the topic.

Get underneath the dash. Find the clutch pedal.

Look behind the clutch pedal. There's a rod with a 12mm jam nut on it. Release the 12mm jam nut. Turn the rod till there is less freeplay of the clutch pedal.

I'm assuming your "soft pedal" situation comes from too much freeplay? Like you push the clutch..and it doesn't do anything for a while...the pedal just flaps in the wind for the 1st few inches of travel.

When adjusted properly, there should only be about 0.5-1'' of freeplay on the clutch pedal, IIRC.

If less freeplay isnt the problem, twist the rod the other way so there's more freeplay.

Adjust till the pedal is at a good pressure level and has good engagement and disengagement properties.

use a pair of pliers to get the rod moving.....BUT BE GENTLE. Dont put any nicks or burrs on that rod. That goes into the seal for the master cylinder.

A little turning goes a long way. You should be able to turn that rod by hand for the most part. The pliers are just there to get it moving initially. Parts can "stick" sometimes.

does anyone know what the problem might be? Does it sound more like a clutch problem than a tranny problem
